AstroGrid software is a set of Java packages that provide a generic infrastructure to UK space scientists, data providers, and tool providers who wish to do the following:

  1. Query single and / or multiple datasets in the solar, astrophysics, and solar terrestrial physics disciplines.
  2. Store the results of queries and upload personal datasets into a virtual storage area to which full or controlled access can be granted by the user to others.
  3. Access tools such as EGSO's Solar Event Catalogue, MSSL's Solar Movie Maker, or Starlink TOPCAT.
  4. Create, save, share and modify workflows that perform a number of these tasks asynchronously, thus freeing the user's time for further research.
