Comments on Tables

There was a slight reduction of planned PT observations that were in blocked compared to February 2006 (16.5% to 13%), presumably due to increasing use of survey modes.

NCR 153 - Failure to cancel timeout after SLEWABORT

S-0202 - Busy Error from HV Ramp Task

The HV ramp task issued a busy error. There was also an associated DCS Event Timeout for AT_REQUESTED_HV. Details can be found in anomaly report S-0202 (SOARS S-Swift-383) and MSSL NCR 154 (http://mssls7/swift/swift/ncr.html).

Slew Aborts

At 074/1554 UVOT went to Safe because the ICU was busy doing a memory dump and couldn't respond in 2.0 seconds to the slew request - see anomaly report S-0204 (SOARS S-Swift-0385). Going to safe caused a DCS Insufficient Priority for autostate message to be issued. So the Spacecraft aborted the slew and the ICU was already waiting for the slew. The ICU timed out (with a DCS Event Timeout for SLEW_START) and went to safe. The first part of this problem was the same as SERS anomaly S-0194. The second part of this problem involved a timeout not being cancelled and is a separate problem with an ICU RTS - MSSL NCR 153 (see http://mssls7/swift/swift/ncr.html).

Mode Exhausted

There were 17 examples of Mode Exhaused message which appear to be related to the anomaly S-0206 problem reported last month. However, there were also 2 occasions where they were not associated with the SAA but were close to midnight and observe_seconds in the FONEXTOBSINFO was only ~120 s, even though ~ 20 minutes was available. The times were

It may be significant that they were just before midnight in both cases.
